We're Peachy Keen on these New Jellycats!

A new Bashful Bunny colour, an adorable otter, a sad rat and so much more... and I can't forget what might be the softest Jellycat ever! Here's my report on the newest Jellies to land at Li'l T.

It’s been a busy time at Li’l T HQ these past few weeks, but I could never forget to introduce our newest Jellies! This newest drop has bought plenty of new friends and fun, and I’m absolutely obsessed.

I’ll start off with the new Bashfuls. A few more bunnies have joined the ranks. There’s a new colour, Bashful Sorrel, that’s a pleasant peachy pink, and a new Luxe, Luxe Bunny Nimbus, a snowy white colour with a unique, slightly ridged texture. To close off the new bunnies, there’s Little Bashful Bunny with Pencil, a perfect gift for a teacher or a writer (like me). The other Bashful arrivals are the whimsical Bashful Unicorn, available in the Little, Original, Giant, and Really Big Sizes, and another Elephant, this time in a lovely navy blue.

There’s three new Amuseables too – the Amuseable Cassette Tape would be a fun addition to any music collector’s shelf, or a great choice for some unique décor for a retro-themed party. You can add to your Jellycat fruit bowl with the Amuseable Peach, quite possibly the softest Jellycat ever, and the Amuseable Pear.  

Animal-lovers are in luck with this drop – there’s some non-Bashful animals too! There’s the adorable Brooke Otter, who I’m sure will become a fan favourite, Hank Hamster, who I think would be best friends with Gordy Guinea Pig, and Isobel Chihuahua, adding another breed to the collection of Jellycat dogs. Last, but certainly not least, is Lachlan Sad Rat, who may possibly be my favourite Jellycat ever. I highly recommend looking up photos of people who have dressed up their Lachlan – a smile is guaranteed!

Cryptid fans are also in luck… Miff Mothman has arrived! They’re super soft and the details on the wings are phenomenal. I can see them fitting in well on a shelf with the Bashful Inky Bunny, Ooky Jack o’ Lantern, and Ooky Ghost.

Jellycat continues to expand the Jellycat Baby range with some absolutely adorable gifting options. There’s a blanket and comforter for the Bashful Black & Cream Puppy, sure to fit in nicely with the soother – and speaking of those, there’s soother versions of the Amuseable Sun and Amuseable Moon too, which sound perfect for themed nurseries. More ring rattles have landed too, this time for the Bashful Beige and Bashful Silver bunnies.

To finish off, Jellycat has introduced some more storybooks to the growing collection! Jellycat books with the matching plush are a fantastic gifting idea, with many characters in the range now having a corresponding storybook:  

There’s Hello Moon and Hello Sun, which would go well with the previously mentioned soothers, and a Bashful Puppy Loves You book that pairs well with the various Black & Cream Puppy options available. The Bashful Unicorn gets the matching if I Were A Unicorn board book. And lastly, the man (or, technically bear), himself Bartholomew Bear gets two books! Bartholomew Bear Loves You, and It’s a Big World Bartholomew. I wonder if there are planned books for the ever-growing variations of the beloved bear? I think that would be too cute.  

Now, I retreat to scroll the Internet for clothes for my Sad Rat. I’m thinking of- wait… is that Halloween right around the corner? Watch this space for more.
